Ballyward is a medium sized runnable wood with a great mix of linear and point features, and without one single bramble. There has been recent felling and thinning works, and Storms Ciara and Dennis left their marks. The map has been extensively updated during recent weeks by Zoë & Angus Tyner

Map Notes: Broken ground symbol has been used for felled areas that have recently been cleaned up. Generally the running through these areas is quite good. Recently felled areas that have not been cleaned up are generally covered with brashings. This is shown on map as open with undergrowth. The running through these areas is quite challenging.
Extraction tracks from thinning works, either old or new are not marked.

Zoë has planned the courses and done a really good job in planning around the recent felling, Anyone who has run on Zoë’s courses before, has not been disappointed.
