Christmas Club Walk 28th Dec
Hello All,
It’s that time of year again when we head for the hills after a few days of decadence and overindulgence.
This year we have a walk over some fairly well trodden trails and “others” lined up in mid Wicklow trying to avoid the areas with significant felled tree damage as far as possible.
Will be a few shortcut options with simple navigation for those wanting to move at a very leisurely pace or if needed due to inclement conditions.
We will be meeting at the Glenmalure Lodge at 10.15am and leaving at 10.30 sharp
In deference to those expressing a preference via our What’s App Poll the planned duration is 4->5 hours so should be back before dark but maybe bring a torch “Just in case” 🤭.
Good walking shoes / boots/ trousers and warm & waterproof layers are strongly recommended as are sufficient personal snacks, sambos and drinks.
We will reserve a small area in the pub for anyone wishing to get more “Food & Drink” afterwards.
Car is likely to be busy that day especially if the weather is good so please carpool if possible and park tightly along the back fence thanks.
Please do let any suitable sorts amongst your family & friends know about it too but of course everyone is responsible for their own safety and preparedness whilst straying out on dem hills 🤠
