Club Champs 2019 – Zoe Tyner wins the Brian Power Shield.

Congratulations to Zoe Tyner, the winner of this years Annual Club Championships and the Brian Power Shield.

Well done to Laurel O’Connor who claimed 2nd place and to Philip Brennan who came 3rd – full results are below along with some pictures.

Many thanks to Mick Mangan for planning and organising the event which included a friendly social gathering afterwards in The Blue Light, along with tasty refreshments and a short and sweet Club AGM.

The IOA Junior Squad is open to all junior club members

Dear Club Members,

Setanta have been contacted by the Irish Orienteering Association who would like us to pass on some information to parents regarding the Junior Squad:

Children do not have to be selected to join the Junior Squad.  The Junior Squad is open to children in all orienteering clubs, even if they only orienteer occasionally or have just started orienteering.  It is a great opportunity for children to train and socialise while learning or improving their orienteering skills.

Please note, all adults and over 18s involved in training events and overnight trips with the Junior Squad are Garda Vetted.…
