Club Champs and AGM

The Setanta Club Champs will take place at Cronykeery, near Ashford, at 2pm on 21st October. This will be followed by the AGM, which is scheduled for 4pm in Ashford House, Ashford, County Wicklow. Free to club members and prospective club members.
Starts from 2pm or a bit earlier. Hoping to wrap up by 3.30pm.

Long, Light Green standard 3.5km 85m climb 15 controls
Short Orange (Yellow with a couple challenging legs) 2.2km 15m climb.

5 minutes from M11 exit 15 if coming from Dublin direction.

Parking in a field with Start/Finish adjacent.

Shelter in the form of a barn is also adjacent. Here will be hot drinks and flapjacks and whatever else may be brought.

Terrain.
This is no walk in the park! Most of the long course is through woodland, some of it dense. You will encounter mud, stream/ditch crossing, brambles. I am currently removing barbed wire, so hopefully you will not encounter any.

Short course is mainly along field or woodland margins. Some mud, but mostly good underfoot conditions, though with the wet week ahead, wet feet are likely.

There is electric fencing. Live only along the uncrossable fence marked in red. Animals will be confined to a single field marked out bounds.
