Massy’s Estate – Dublin by Night

This Saturday 22/02/2020 Setanta Orienteers are holding a night orienteering event at Massy’s woods. The event will be signposted from Stocking Lane.

Start times are between 6:15pm-7:30pm.

This is an over 16s event. Anyone under that age wishing to take part must do so accompanied by an adult at all times.

There will be two courses on offer

Long – 3.3km 140 metres 14 controls

Short – 2.2km 90 metres 11 controls.

Cost of entry

Seniors – €7

Students/OAP’s – €5

Djouce Woods 16th February 2020

Setanta Orienteers will be running a local come-and-try-it event at Djouce Woods this coming Sunday 16th February. All welcome. Start times are between 11am and 1pm with courses closing at 2:30pm. The event will be in the main forest car park and will be signposted on the R755 leaving Kilmcanogue.

There will be four courses on offer as follows
Long 6.3km 270m climb
Medium 4.4km 200m climb
Short (tech) 2.0km 80m climb
Short (easy) 2.0km 50m climb

Wine and chocolates – rescheduled

We are rescheduling the wine and choc O event to Sunday 5th January. The start will be at the middle car park of Djouce Woods at 2:30pm. Prizes of chocolates and bottles of wine at each control. Bring the whole family as it’s always a great occasion. Refreshment and finger food is organised in a local hostelry afterwards and we hope to see all club members there too.
The kings brought the gifts on the twelfth day of Christmas, so we’re only one day out!…
